Title: “Everything”
Event: Easter (2008)
Location: Snellville Church of God

While visiting Winterfest (2006) in Gatlinburg, TN, Catalyst Youth Ministries witnessed this skit. So impressed by the powerful message of this skit, they decided to perform it for Easter (2008) at the church.

Title: “The Devil Made Me Do It”
Event: Youth Service (2008)
Location: Snellville Church of God
Type: Drama / Skit
This was the second skit that Catalyst Youth Ministries performed during their first ever ‘youth service.’ This fantastic skit is the classic struggle between right and wrong, but drives home a more eye-opening point in the end.

Title: “Pray”
Event: Youth Service (2008)
Location: Snellville Church of God
Type: Drama / Skit
The youth put on their first ever ‘youth service’, since Catalyst Radio was formed over 4 years ago, and performed this skit called: “Pray.” It’s a very popular skit that has been done by countless youth groups through the years, but no matter how many times you see this skit, it never fails to drive home the most important point of all.

Title: “The 3 Magi From the East”
Event: Christmas Banquet (2007)
Location: The Marriott ‘Evergreen’ (Stone Mountain)
Type: Drama / Skit
A very informal and ‘throw together’ skit that the youth group did for our annual Christmas Banquet. In this skit: Mary, the mother of Jesus, gets a visit from the three traditional Wisemen, seeking to find out more about the newborn Son of God. However, these particular Wisemen are anything BUT traditional…

Title: “Love Advice”
Event: Sonfest (2007)
Location: Orlando, FL (Swan & Dolphin Resort)
Type: Video
We stayed at a really nice hotel (actually, a resort) in 2007 when we went to Sonfest. One night after we had gotten back from the services, someone had brought a few masks and a few of our youth decided that they would wear these down in the lobby, while their reactions were videotaped. After we got all the footage back, we decide to make a humorous video based on what we had recorded.

Title: “Catchafire Slide Show”
Event: Sonfest (2007)
Location: Orlando, FL
Type: Picture Slideshow
We go to ‘Winterfest’ every year, but this year we decided that we would head down to the warmer climate of Orlando, FL for a change of pace. After years of being in Gatlinburg, TN, Sonfest was a welcome change. Overall, the event was a big success and Catalyst Youth Ministries is planning on heading down to FL again for the 2008 Sonfest. This slide show contains only a small glimpse of over 1,000+ pictures that were taken over just three days.

Title: “Christmas Shoes”
Event: SCoG Christmas Musical (2006)
Type: Music Video
This was a video that we did one year set to the song ‘Christmas Shoes‘ by Newsong. The video was used a part of a skit that Ronny Ownbey told. In the skit, the lead character tells of an event that happened to him that day when he was shopping. The event is what takes place in the video.

Title: “Picture Scavenger Hunt”
Event: Smokey Mountain Winterfest (2006)
Location: Gatlinburg, TN
Type: Slideshow
One year we decided that it would be a lot of fun to do a ‘picture scavenger hunt’ while we were staying in Gatlinburg, TN. The kids all had a list of several things that they had to either do, perform, or find… all while being captured on film. This short video only shows just a FEW of the things that were on that list.

Title: “How To Catch A Pigeon”
Event: Smokey Mountain Winterfest (2005)
Location: Gatlinburg, TN
Type: Instructional Video
During Winterfest one year, we noticed after we got situated in our hotel that a large group of pigeons like to hang outside our rooms all the time. And so, it didn’t take long for someone to get the bright idea: “Hey! Let’s Catch One!”

Title: “What Does Christmas Mean To You?”
Event: SCoG Christmas Musical (2005)
Type: Skit / Drama
The video that was played during the Christmas Musical in 2005. This was supposed to be a live skit, but instead, we decided that the skit would be a lot better if we tried to make it look like a real newscast. (This skit was shot on a green screen.)

Title: “It Seems Like Yesterday…”
Event: Catalyst Youth Ministries 2 Year Birthday (2005)
Type: Slideshow
We did this video on our 2 year birthday and showed it one morning during Sunday service. It was good to reflect on the things that we had been through and also to see the changes that had taken place. Even more exciting, was to see which direction the group was heading after those two years. Man, how time flies. If you watch carefully, you can even witness these kids growing up… right before your eyes.

Title: “Snow War”
Event: Smokey Mountain Winterfest (2005)
Location: The Mountains in TN
Type: Music Video
This video (thought to be ‘lost’) was recently discovered in November, 2007. On our way home from Winterfest, we spotted a large area of snow that had gathered in the mountains. We decided that we would stop off and have a little fun in the snow. This is only part of a 2 disc DVD that was put together, showcasing all of the memories from our trip.

Title: “Camping Trip”
Event: First Youth Outing (2003)
Location: ‘Hidden Lake’, TN
Type: Video / Slideshow
This was our first ever youth event! (We didn’t even have a youth group name picked out at this time!) Bro. Lance and Sister Jann took us up to a place called ‘Hidden Lake’ in Tennessee and we spent three days ‘roughing it’ in the woods. We had a great time of fellowship and fun. We hope to go back camping again some day.
