Due to the recent events of Bishop’s father passing away, our online store hasn’t been updated since 06/13/10.  We’ve taken some time today to update our online store area, which includes a complete (and up-to-date) listing of all of the sermons, lessons, and teaching events of 2010.  This includes recent services such as Father’s Day and Independence Day.  We apologize for the delay in getting these audio listings posted.

Book of Daniel Series

Bishop McGuire has recently concluded a fantastic series on the study of the Book of Daniel.  This study takes a look at chapters in Daniel and draws a comparison to the events that are happening in the world today, along with a look at how Daniel lines up with end time events, as well as events described in Revelations.  We have received A LOT of inquires as to when the complete series will be available for order from our online store.  We are excited to announce that we have added TWO options in our store for those that wish to order the complete series:

• Complete Audio Series (15 Audio CDs)
• Complete Series MP3 Disc

The Complete Audio Series will be a single audio CD for each session, 15 all together!  We have heavily discounted the price of this bundle.  The regular price is $75.00 for the complete set (if you were to purchase them individually), but if you wish to purchase all 15 together, we are offering all 15 of them for just $50.00!  (Plus shipping, if you wish to have them shipped to you.)

Our Complete Series MP3 Disc is all 15 lessons put together on a single CD.  These tracks can easily be loaded on portable audio devices (such as MP3 players and iPods), plus converted to regular audio CDs as well.  (Keep in mind that our MP3 Disc will only play in audio devices that support MP3 playback.)  The regular price for all of these tracks individually is $45.00, but if you wish to purchase all 15 tracks together, we are offering our MP3 Disc for just $30.00.  (Plus shipping, if you with to have it shipped to you.)  Due to the size of our MP3 Disc, it is only available on a single CD and not via download.

New Series

Bishop McGuire will be starting a series on the Book of Revelations here in the near future, but in the meantime, don’t miss his exciting series on:  ’Discipleship 101.‘  We just completed Session I of this great series and look forward to the next several sessions.  If you haven’t been a part of our Wednesday Night Family Training Hour class, we invite you to come out and join us!

Starting today, all visitors to our website can now access our Mailing List section, found under our CONTACT page.  (Also found on our navigation bar, towards the bottom, on the left.)  The media department will be working with our department heads to bring forth different mailing lists that can be used to help get news and information out in a much more timely fashion.  Anyone that is currently part of Pastor’s Mailing list will be added to the main church mailing list (default), as we migrate moving over to the new system.  Mailing lists provide much better access to e-mail information for the following reasons:

• Opt-In / Opt-Out –  You decide if you want to subscribe (or unsubscribe) by just entering your e-mail address.
• Privacy – No names, no personal information.  Just your e-mail address and that’s it.
• More Privacy – Mass mailings do not include your e-mail address (or others) in them.
• More Efficient – Mass mailings can be sent from just about anywhere, not just someone’s address book on their computer.

Snellville Church of God will NEVER give your e-mail address to any third-party or anyone outside of Snellville Church of God.  Your e-mail will be kept confidential and only used for the reason(s) specified in the mailing list section of our site.  You may choose to remove yourself from our mailing list at any time.

We’ve been hard at work making changes to our 2010 Audio Catalog!  If you haven’t been to our Audio Catalog lately, we invite you to stop by and take a look at the following changes that we have made:

• Audio CDs & Digital Downloads can now be purchase from one single catalog
• A search box at the top of the catalog lets you quickly locate audio recordings with great ease
• Each track now has a 3 minute preview, giving you a chance to check out the recording(s) in advance
• We’ve listed the time (audio CD) and size (digital download) of each track in the catalog
• Activated a ‘coupon’ system for pick-up orders, as well as additional discounts for future orders

Right now, these changes have been put in place for just the 2010 Audio Catalog, but we hope to convert our 2009 Audio Catalog to this format as well.  We are also looking at putting additional audio recordings in our store area, possibly going back as far as 2005.  These archives contain recordings which include earlier sermons by Jennifer Brummett, Jackie Smith, and other guest speakers.

A lot of great things happening in the media department of Snellville Church of God.  We want to make everyone aware of two key pieces of information to better help our members & visitors:

• The Book of Daniel (Series)

Bishop McGuire has been busy the past several weeks bringing us a break down on the Book of Daniel and how it relates to current events that are taking place in present time.  If you haven’t been out for this series held during our Family Training Hour class (Wednesday nights @ 7:30 PM) then you are missing out!  This fantastic series is approaching into week #6 and each week is more and more exciting.

Due to popular request, the series has been made available to order on our Audio CD & Digital Download section of our online store.  The Digital Downloads for weeks 1 – 5 are now available in our catalog, with the Audio CDs being made available to order in the very near future.  For those that might not be familiar with our purchasing options:

Digital Downloads: 64 kbps (var enc), instant download upon purchase – $3.00 a track
Audio CDs: Highest recording quality & printed label – $5.00 each (plus shipping)

We are also exploring the idea of putting together a ‘bundle’ deal when the series is complete.  This bundle will include ALL weeks of the study on the Book of Daniel.  Be on the look out for it in our online store area.  We are also in the process of making our Audio CD / Digital Download catalogs easier to navigate, allowing individuals to find what they are looking for a lot easier.

• New Ordering Options For Audio CDs

In an effort to make the ordering of our Audio CDs even easier, we have implemented a new ‘coupon’ system during our checkout phase, which will allow people to purchase Audio CDs from our website, but avoid paying any shipping charges, should they decide that they would rather pickup the Audio CDs instead of having them shipped to their location.  If you wish to purchase CDs from our online store, but want to pick them at our media department the next time you are visiting the church, all you have to do is the following:

1. Select which CD(s) you would like to purchase from the online store.
2. Once you have made your selection, review your cart and enter PICKUP in the coupon block.
3. Click APPLY.
4. Once the PICKUP coupon is applied, you will notice that there will not be any shipping charges on the order.
5. Finish your order by clicking the ‘Checkout With PayPal‘ button.

When we receive the order, the lack of any shipping charges will let us know that you plan on picking up this order the next time you visit the church. (Note:  You may see a message that says:  ”Total Discount: 0″.  This is NORMAL.  If you review your order, you will see the shipping charge is NOT listed in the total.)  WE WILL NOT SHIP AN ORDER IF A SHIPPING CHARGE IS NOT PRESENT ON OUR INVOICE.

Although we have a very fast turn around time for orders that are placed directly to our media department, this option will help us be even more effective in getting even QUICKER turn around times and allow individuals the ability to purchase CDs, without having to directly speak to anyone in the media department to place an order.  If you have any questions about the process of ordering any of our CDs, please feel free to use the CONTACT page and submit your question(s).

Our ‘Prayer Challenge‘ is set to being tonight, kicking off at 11:00 PM!  The church will be open to all of those that would like to participate between the hours of 11:00 PM and 5:30 AM.  We will be broadcasting the prayer challenge live on our webcast.  Be sure to tune in and check our progress as we attempt to pray through the night!
