We’d like to take a minute and welcome you to the new Snellville Church of God website. Not much has changed from the old website, but we have updated it to a more simple design, which we feel will better help us offer content and information in the future. If this is your first time at our website, we are glad you have stopped by! If you use our website on a continual basis, please let us take a minute to share with you some of the differences from our last site design:
- Events Page: We removed the ‘Event Calendar‘ and replaced with an ‘Events’ page. We will be keeping a simple list of special events (with details) on our website.
- Site Registration: Users can now register with the site, which will allow them to leave comments, join mailing lists, and other things that they could not do before. This will also help department heads post news about their ministries, to help others stay up to date on what is going on with SCoG.
- Links Page: We’ve added a ‘Links’ page. This replaces many of the links that we had on the navigation bar on the old site and keeps them in an single, easy to use, area.
- Forum: We have added a forum (currently inactive) which will help ministries to keep in touch, discuss projects, share ideas, and much more. Communication is key.
- Expanded Webcast Window: We’ve made our webcast window bigger for those of you that do not use the ‘fullscreen’ option on our broadcast.
- Photos Area: We’ve replaced the ‘Media’ section with a photo gallery. Most other media content is available strait from the main page, so the media ‘section’ is not needed anymore.
- Changed Sermon Player: Our sermon player looks different, but still functions the same. Just click on the play button and you can start listening to our lastest posted sermon.
We’ve actually got more in the works, but for now, we hope that you enjoy the new design. We’ll still be changing / adding things in the next several days, so please check back often.
Note: For any of our members that have been using the ‘Leadership Forums’, please note their new location located HERE. We’ll be taking these forums down in the near future and opening our new forums with the new site design. Please update your bookmarks so you can still access the old forums.
